Legally you could be charged with perjury.
By entering an adult website, you consent you are over the age of 18 or 21 in some areas. Lying is a perjury and a serious offense.
If that is the case, and your A.D.A, State Attorney, or A.C.A wishes to press charges against you, they could.

you mean as far as legal consequences? the answer is nothing. minors are always considered the victim in cases of sexual obscenity. consequences always fall on the purveyor of the explicit images. if it's online, though most websites have a disclaimer that says if you're not 18 or it's not legal to view such images in your area than you must leave. so in that case usually no one is at fault.

It depends on the child, as to what degree it will effect him/her. And the age. Some kids can square it up and nothing more comes of it. Others, well they might try to expierment what they saw. Either way, I think open communication about the situation is by far the best way to go. It will help you decide what course of action you might need to take.

Studies have shown that it has long-lasting negative affects. Children are not geared emotionally to handle that kind of viewing. I have spoken to several men who, when young, either viewed magazines or videos that were porn in nature. All have said it had a negative affect, in fact, most of these men are now addicted to internet porn. I am greatly concerned about children who have viewed it and wonder what they will be dealing with as they mature.

I remember my first beer, I was 4 years old, I remember my first horror movie, American Werewolf in London, I was also 4 years old, I remember seeing my first pornographic pictures, I was 8 years old, I don't see how it would have made any difference if I had waited longer for those things, I would still be who I am today
