I've read something about a couple of people walking along a beach littered with starfish that had been swept ashore.
One of them occasionally reaches down and picks up a starfish and throws it back in the ocean.
The other person wants to know how that can make a difference when there are so many starfish?
The answer was that it made a difference to that one.
That sheds a little light for me.

The people who make the most difference in the world are the people who do something to make the world stop and look at them. If there truly great the world will change because of that one person.

I made a difference in one person's life today. And that makes a difference in the world. If you can only do one small thing, do it.

What are a few brain cells in your head? Nothing much out of the billions of cells there. But without them, you'd be a different person. Better, worse? Probably not; just difference. How much good or ill you do in the world is not the difference you make. This entire universe is the way it is because you are in it. Remove you, and it's a different universe. Better, worse? Probably not; just different.

Your difference can be big or small. Every life you interact with can make a difference however small and insignificant that it may be. I kind word to a stranger can make a difference in their day or for the rest of their lives. All choices have consequences and those consequences have ripple affects all around you so be sure to make the right choices and your "difference" will be amazing.

Everything. "if you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem." communication and thought conducting ideas and opinions to each other is enough to get a good cause going on. But as long as there is apathy, bias and untrue media, not to mention propaganda it is difficult. if one is educated and well informed then one could change the world, for better or for worse. look at our founding fathers they more than likely started as one with the less patience for tyranny and corruption budging sense into the rest of the colonists...

The mightiest river begins with a single drop of water. The largest ocean began from a few streams. One person who decides to make a change is the energy that cause others to respons in kind. You see it in nature. Throw a pebble in the lake and the ripples flow outward from the center. If you decide to do a good deed for someone without your own immediate benefit, you can encourage that someone to reciprocate for another person, and that energy flows outward.

Volunteer for things at the local level that help people and the environment. Write to my congressmen about issues. Vote. Pay taxes. Donate money to charities. Be nice a person.
