I know I do! I wish I could find someone to get to know and who shares similar characteristics as myself such as being mature, down to earth, trustworthy, and outgoing. Its hard these days to find "true friendship", hopefully God will bless me with someone. I really would like a female buddy! I am 23 years old and I really would love to meet new people! Is there someone out there like myself?

Just like a good boyfriend, a good girlfriend for you is out there you just haven't met her yet. Don't rush it and try to make a connection with just anyone because you can get hurt. Take your time and it'll happen and you guys will be the best of friends. Good things happen to those who wait. Good Luck.

I know EXACTLY how you feel.

I'm 21 years old, and my best friend of 18 years is changing. She's totally changed into someone I don't know (or like) and all of a sudden I feel really alone.

It's hard making female friends as you get older (not like you and I are that old, haha) because everyone has their core friends set up already. It's not like high school anymore when people changes friends constantly.

I've made an effort to go to more parties with my guy friends, because they always have girls around them. Granted, the girls are usually just trying to hit on my friends, but I've met some really nice girls. Or, even working out at the gym or attending yoga/pilates classes is a good way to meet more women.

Good luck sweety :)

Sure, sometimes. It's natural to want intimacy with another person, whether romantic or strictly platonic. However, there's something in the way you wrote your question that demonstrates why you might not be able to find one: You seem to be LOOKING out there for someone to come find you, rather than being the one who is trying to BECOME a best friend. Rather than wondering if you can "find someone", I'd suggest thinking about what kind of person makes a good best friend? And then doing your best to work on becoming that sort of person.

Yeah, I know what you mean! I haven't had a good female friend since like 8th grade LOL (and I'm 25 now). I have gotten rid of so many of my friends because they were backstabbing, using me, etc. If you wanna talk sometime message me~ Iridescent126

If you can find me a boyfriend, I'll find you a best friend, lol. For me, it's harder to find a 'real boyfriend' instead of my many best friends. Seriously, to get best friends, you don't have to looking! By the time goes by, you'll find more best friends. Just be yourself, and you don't have to pursue friend relationship with someone that only take advantage of you! Real best friends is just like your sister or family.
