I got my G1 on my birthday in July, and I finally drove tonight. The thing is that I made a few mistakes and I feel really embarassed and I feel really bad about it. I hit the brake a little too hard when I was backing out of my driveway, and I forgot to signal when I was going around a turn. Is it normal to feel that way the first time? And if anyone's made any mistakes their first time driving, would you like to share it with me? It's just so that I know that I am not the only one who screwed up!

Did we make MISTAKES?! Are you kidding? 15 years later we STILL make mistakes. No need to be embarrased! I drove a golf cart for years before I got behind the wheel. I did great until once in driving school I decided to show off because I saw some teens and I overturned a corner. My instructor... I could hear his heart pound. Try not to speed, teens think they'll live forever. I used to speed until I gave birth, then REALITY kicked in and I do the speed limit. You are not the only one who screwed up. Driving is a serious job and it takes practice.
What is a G1? I did a google image search but didn't find anything but a vintage Italian sedan.

My father nearly had a heart attack when I stalled four times.
I enjoyed going to driving school and passing with flying colors.
My father has been a nag, but he's also been very helpful. I've had no accidents, but a couple of speeding tickets.
