Depends who's supposed to be listening to them. Eg Bush would turn a blind eye if 50 million people marched against him having troops in Iraq.

They can... its easy... all you need is the wrong information spewed to the public under a very offical name... if the president and all the scientists told us all that an asteroid was going to blow up the earth, the nation would believe, but they would be wrong
