Symptoms of a peptic ulcer can be:

-Abdominal pain, classically epigastric with severity relating to mealtimes (duodenal ulcers are classically relieved by food, while gastric ulcers are exacerbated by it);
-Bloating and abdominal fullness
-Waterbrash (bitter regurgitation)
-Nausea, and sometimes vomiting
-Loss of appetite and weight loss;
-Hematemesis (vomiting of blood);
-Melena (tarry, foul-smelling feces due to oxidised iron from hemoglobin);

It looks like you have some symptoms of a stomach ulcer. You should definitely tell this to your doctor and he may put on on antibiotics or some other type of medication. It's important that you stay away from stress because stress makes ulcers worse. Drink a lot of water and like I said before, visit your doctor. Good luck :D

Dependent on your age it could be everything, what makes me worried a little bit is your fatigue. You should go to a doctor, best would be a gastroenterologist. There is only one way to find out whether you have an ulcer. He must perform an endoscopy. It's a little unpleasant feeling but it lasts only a few minutes and after that it's clear whether you have an ulcer.

If taking Tums helps it is not an ulcer. It sounds to me like you have nervous stomach. Your doctor can prescribe a medication for that ailment. It sounds like it could also be erosive esophagitis. I have had both of these conditions and neither one are any fun at all. Whatever it is, you need to see your doctor as soon as you can.

Can be many things, a stomach ulcer is 99% of the time caused by a microbe called Helicobacter pylori which is easily taken care of. A visit to your doctor and a simple test can determine its presence. Either way a visit to your doctor is in order.

I would goto DOCTORS tell him your situation with your stomach. It could be far WORSE than a ULCER thou. You might have GERD which you can take Prilosec or Nexium. I believe both these pills are considered over the counter drugs.

I have no idea what does this, but I just wanted to let you know that I have the same problem....for a few years now. I haven't seen a doctor about it, I don't have insurance. But if I did, I would go to the doctor to find out what's wrong. You should too. Sorry I can' give you info, but at least you know that you aren't alone. (If that's any consolation).

Go see a real doctor.Even if something sounds good on here, your best is to see a doctor in person.
