stars are globular, meaning globe shaped. But the hot gases they are made up of mean they are not a solid globe, the immense gravity they have keeps them together into a globular shape adn only when they become billions of years old will they become hyper massive super red giant stars and then implode in on themselves and long after turn into white dwarfs and then even after that they become black holes, sucking up everything anywhere near them. even LIGHT.
