She worked with Fred Astaire Dance for almost 20 years. This was in the 1970's-1990's. I want to locate some old footage of her and put on a dvd for her as a suprise. Anyone know where I might locate this without her knowing?

Try contacting FADS Corporate, link below.

You can also get contacts to the studios at the FADS site.

There are still people around from FADS during that time period like Steven Knight @ the Brookfield WI studio. Or Rae Josephs, she could probably be contacted through the North Chicago, IL studio, her daughter is co-manager of the studio.

Hmm, competitive ballroom community massively went on-line about 5-7 years ago... It really depends how much of the old stuff did they put on the web.

Try to find out/think what competitions she might have danced.
Contact the organisers/owners of the competition and ask if they have any old pictures or tapes.

Try to contact the studio she worked with. Ask for pictures or footage. They also might know which competitions she have competed, or was there any shows she performed.

You can try as simple as google her name. Competition results are now on-line.

a million. For ballroom dancing you want training and practice. no longer a lot of human beings (no longer in hardship-free words teemagers) are waiting, keen or prepared to target this. 2. For ballroom dancing you want a particular, tremendous position (no longer crowded golf equipment) and those aren't any further very hardship-free or that basic to discover. 3. at the same time as dancing maximum persons opt to have interesting and experience good in spite of ways they seem at the same time as they dance, their position or form. In end, ballroom dancing isn't so accessible to do... and do not get me incorrect ... I easily love ballroom dancing !
