You have to format it. Unless you have a restore disk that makes it much easier to do. If you don't know too much about computers, I don't recommend you trying to format until you have seen it being done by someone else.

Go to start >> all programs >> accessories >> system restore >> click on it and it should have dates available to restore your computer to just about any date you choose. If system restore is turned off then there is no way to do a system restore. You could then delete files off your computer and out of the registry. You might make a back up disk first just in case you do something wrong. Good luck.

You just uninstall the programs that wasn't on your computer in the first place when you bought it... The best thing I suggest though, is to get an XP cd (if your running windows XP) and then restart your computer with it in your drive, and press the key to activate the set up & follow the directions in formating your drive & reinstalling windows fresh.

FORMAT the computer system! And reinstall back all the drivers and software into your computer system, then you can get all like when you bought the computer!

Reformat the computer using the install disc that came with the computer when you bought it.

With windows xp you can restore it to the oldest date in the system restore calender and stuff after that date will be gone.

Boot up on a CD or flopp bootdisk, and run a FORMAT. Then you will have to reinstall your OS.
