an iPod is an MP3 player.
depends on the number of gigabytes (storage space)
some MP3 player have just as many or more GBs than an iPod

The difference between an Ipod and an MP3 Player is that an Ipod can upload pictures from your digital, It can Put your music on an empty radio channel, You can watch videos and they are more expensive. With an MP3 Player you can only put songs songs. But on some MP3 Players you can put videos on. So some MP3 Players can hold more music then and IPOD and some less.

There are ALL KINDS of Mp3 players. Some hold more than the Ipod, some hold less...

ipod is better, you can get it in cute varieties too. It depends on how much you spend on each to know which one holds more songs. If you get a cheap mp3 then no it does not hold more than an ipod. vicea versa

ipod is a media player i.e it can play more than just mp3. whereas and mp3 plays only mp3 and maybe wmv formats.
i believe ipod has better software features like equalising the volume of all the mp3s etc.

Yea im pretty sure its the ipod too but i know for sure that ipod video is a good one.It hold 25,000 videos and 50,000 songs + it has a photo album !
