when i use super sculpey (a type of clay) i usually just put it straight on a pizza or cookie tray. but if you want, use wax paper. it may smell weird when it comes out of the oven, but it will protect your oven and the clay.

This clay is a man-made material that will not dry out when exposed to air for a long period of time, but bakes in your home oven at a fairly low temperature to a hard, often pliable surface that can be painted and decorated. Bake about 3 minutes.

An OLD cookie sheet would be best. Once you have used it for the clay (which is probably really a synthetic material), don't use it for food anymore. Also, you want to make sure the kitchen is well ventilated.

Use parchment paper instead of wax paper. It is used for baking cookies and other bakery items.
