I have no Idea. I was teased to death all through school. But I always said I'm not going 2 until I'm married.

It is wimpy to have sex before marriage. Some people don't seem to have the discipline and character to wait until marriage. Even protected sex does not protect against all diseases. Also it is just a matter of time before protected sex produces a baby. Twenty years of child support and having a child without a two parent family is what you can really call "wimpy."

How is it wimpy? Just 'cause you want to wait 'till you find the right person and not have a kid 'till your married?
I'm not sure about it being manly to discipline ones self but i think abstinence is better then sex with the wrong man.

Its definitely not wimpy, but it is naive. As soon as puberty hits, the human body is ready to reproduce, yet most Americans get married in their 20s and 30s. Your commitment to celibacy before marriage amounts to fighting urges that are almost as strong as sleep and hunger for 15 years to meet social obligations. No, its not wimpy, but it is stressful and unnatural. Be a human. You can't be anything else.

Welllllllll...
Many people nowadays are getting married later in life than people in previous generations. If you don't get married until your late 20s/early 30s, that can be a long time to wait.
If you can do it, more power to you, but for a lot of people, it wouldn't be ideal.

I think since most people have sex before marriage, when they meet someone who is waiting they wanna pressure them because they may think they are "missing" something or they may feel convicted for being promiscuous. Either way, I think people who wait until they are married are smart and they will live with a lot less to regret later on in life.

I get called a pansy, a fag, a homo, a pussy all the time. I'm not necessarily waiting for marriage, but I am waiting for someone special, and I haven't met her yet.
And it's not even really a decision I made myself. It's just that I can't bring myself to have sex with a girl unless I am in love with her.

Ok I'm not sure what the second half of your sentence means but I'll answer anyway. I personally have had sex before marriage, but I don't laugh at people who choose to wait. I respect anyone who has that kind of faith and discipline.

It's not wimpy. It's a personal choice. Everyone is allowed their own choices in life.
