Yes I talk to myself and will occasionally respond. No, I do not suffer from any mental illnesses either. The reason I do this is the same reason most people will call a friend or relative to tell them about their idea, for better perspective. Have you ever noticed that when you think of something to do and then ask someone to participate it doesn't always sound as good when it's out. Same thing goes when you are alone and no one is available to discuss the idea with. You say it out loud and then think how you would respond if your friend/relative were to suggest. Believe it or not, it works.

Yes. Talking to one's self is usually done to reinforce information. But. If you have a two-way conversation with yourself, there is a deep rooted problem.

I mostly talk to myself while driving and the occasional answer pops out automatically. I don't talk to myself in public. At least I don't think I do.

Some people do that in order to try to resolve an issue however if they are answering themselves then theres a problem.

Everyday all day LOL I also have a habit of saying (dam-it Benny ) whenever I goof up. But who Benny is and where he came from is still a mystery in our house.

All the time. It helps sort things out. Occasionally people catch me, but those who know me find it adoreable.

Yes...... and Yes.
Ive learned that things you hear are retained better than things you read (proven fact!) so it is actually not a bad thing and it doesn't mean you have issues
