my husband has a cpap that is necessary to use for his health. will he be able to take it as hand luggage on the flight to europe?

I had no trouble taking mine to England a year ago, but with the current situation it may be harder. He may need a note from his doctor. Call the airline and ask - they deal with CPAPs often enough that you should be able to get an answer. Do NOT put the CPAP in checked luggage - the chances of it still working on arrival are very, very poor. In addition to having to replace the machine, he would probably have to sleep without it until he got home, and that is both very uncomforable and dangerous to his health.
