Is it possible to fart in outer space?

Would it be possible to light a fart on fire?

You can fart in outer space ,however since you will be in an oxygen free environment you would not be able to light the lighter to set your fart on fire. Of course this is figuring that you meant if one was actually in outer space with no space suit or inside a space ship.

Sure, you could fart in a space craft, but the other astronauts would hate you. If you farted in your space suit, you would hate yourself!
If you are talking about farting while in a total vacuum, with no space suit on, you would automatically fart, plus your blood would boil, and your lungs and eyes would pop out. You wouldn't just fart - all of your crap would shoot out too. You would pretty much just explode. AWESOME!
