I'm a huge fan of the sims, but I'm not sure if I want to get the sims2 for the computer. I am afraid it might be too slow or have really bad quality. There is also the new sims pets version coming out, what about that?

I have a slow computer. I've played the first sims on this computer awhile ago and it was fine, but this computer has gotten alot slower.

I have played alot of different sims games (urbs for gameboy, urbs for xbox, sims bustin' out for gamecube and playstation, bustin out for ps2, sims for playstation, and sims for the computer. I also have the sims2 on my phone(sprint), it dissapointed me.) and I am wanting to try the sims2 for the computer or ps2. Are they the same?

i've played a few of those versions of the sims, and the sims2 for PC was definitely muchhhh better than all of them. if you're worried about it being slow or the graphics being bad, buy a new graphics card. it will definitely be worth it!! =] and now with pets coming out, the game will be even better! there are so many new options to play with. here is some info on it =]

Depends on the type of computer you have!
The Sims 2 is out for game consoles, in case you have one of them.
I like the Sims and Sims2, but really, they are about the same in terms of entertainment.

You should get sims 2.There is a lot more to it than the first.I would upgrade my comp first though cause it will run slow if the comp is slow

yeah you should, the grafics are great and its alot funner than the regular sims if you ask me, also there are more theres nightlife,university,family fun pack,open for businessand just like you said oc 17 the sims pets comes out, i cant wait.

The grapics are great and if your computer isen't slow then the game will be fine.Its a great game.

yea u should...it so rox my sox...if u r worried about it being slow on your computer...they have it on every console...and on cell phone! it's only $7 if u have sprint..
