*dont say the excorcist , the ring 1 and 2, premonition, or silence of the lambs cause ive seen them and they are not scary" ... can anyone reccomend a good one?? which really makes u hav nightmares and stuff. ??? also i dont really like gory horror movies that much so ill make it tough for you :) basically i want to be scared without gore thanks the best answer will get 10 points :)

Texas Chainsaw Massecre--the original one, not that piece of poo remake.
It doesn't have alot of gore, but leaves alot to your imagination.
Silence of the Lambs is also a low gore but real scary flick!
Deliverance is explicit, but not really gory.
Great, now how'm I supposed to get some sleep?!

I've suggested this before to someone else I believe. The Hitcher. Awesome flick. As far as what you'll graphically see, not much if anything. Rutger Hauer is one creepy motherf*cker in that.

For my money, the original Psycho or the original Alien are two of the scariest movies ever made. Classy too.

Well, Signs IMO was a bit scary, so was the Sixth Sense and I also thought Carrie was scary.

the exocism of emily rose was really scary for me....but that was probably because right after it ended at liek 3am the lights flickered and the movie went fuzzy wen no1 was near either of those things lol

The newest remake of "The Hills Have Eyes" the unrated version. I jumped more then I have on any other horror movie.
"Hostile" was good also, as was the first "Saw".

no the scariest film is the ring it s film who speaks avout a video everyone see it die after seven days
it s the best thing i had ever seen there s no gory and there s no killers but it s so scary to that night i did pipi in my bed :-(
