Okay, I downloaded the basic version of Limewire... it downloaded fine, and runs fine... My mouse lights up whatever it is over, and my mouse is not broken, but it won't let me click on anything in the limewire screen! I can click on things outside of this screen, but not anything on the screen. I can search, but I can't click on the song I want... Now, everytime I open it, it asks me to upgrade, and I can't even click on later, or yes, or more info.... I am getting very frustrated. Someone help please?

Try restarting the computer...it might work after that.....or it might be that your computer is "old".

This is a general known problem for dialup users, but there are some cases that it happens to people without the latest JAVA installed in their computer.

If you need a JAVA runtime, download it at http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Download the latest java and then try opening Limewire again and let me know if that fixed the problem.

I use Limewire all the time, that has never happened to me before. I would suggest restarting Limewire and/or scan ur system for worms or something.

hey there,
If I was you I would go to control panel, then to add/remove programs and remove that version and install the limewire pro version. Here is a link to the (free) pro version.

I hope this helps you!

the basic verson of limewire installs adware and worms on your computer
that verson isnt really "free"

dont bother with limewire it sucks and it will screw up your computer.. download Shareaza, its free AND no adware/viruses
