you can if you have green card. if you are a student, i believ you can work in your school. hey, make your own music, record it and talk to distributers.. you can make some good money without being a fat american.. lots of foreign artists live rich in the US.. oh yeah, without being fat citizens

I really dont think you can get citizenship being an independent musician. you will probobly have to be working for a theatre or something.

you dont need to be a citizen to work her but you do need an I94 immigration card, and social security number
