i am sorry but everyone here did NOT answer the question correctly. If it was a multiple choice question you all would have gotten 0, and if it was a short answer question, you might have received partial marks.

First of all, the slope of the new line is -1/5, and y-int of 4, so the answer of y = -1/5x + 4 is slope-intercept form, the question asks for STANDARD form, so the answer is x + 5y - 20 = 0

The correct answer is y= -1/5 x + 4. Y = 4 when x= 0. (Y intercept) The slope of the original eqn. is 5. The slope of a perpendicular line is the opposite reciprocol. If you graph the two lines, you will see they are perpendicular.
