I really want a kangaroo, but they are not allowed in the US. What other animal can I get that would be almost the same experience? And also, how much would the animal cost? How to care for it? Serious answers only, please! :)

Are you sure they are not allowed, everything else seems to be, tigers, monkeys etc.
You may need to apply for an import license, perhaps ask a zoo
if they can advise you.
I have no idea about the cost, but they have a similar diet to sheep

I'm sorry but coming from an Aussie I don't think there is any other animal quite like a Kangaroo. Anyway why would you want a Kangaroo as a pet? They are wild animals, you can't even have them as pets in Aussie!
