A LADY would simply ignore them, but going by the answers here, there aren't any here.... ;-)
Checked again and there are a few, I am impressed!
In Italy this is considered a compliment and needs no response. They also like to pinch...

The appropriate thing to do is to not respond at all, do not even turn around. A man who is truly interested in speaking to woman will come up to her and a real woman will not acknowledge hoots, hollers, or yells.

Ignore them. Or smile and wave. It's just an immature way for them to show that they like what they see.
Fact of the matter is, we're all looking whether you want us to or not, and most of you want us to because of what you wear out in public.
If you don't like the hoots and hollars, then dress more conservatively.

You want us to believe you have that problem. Wear clothes that don't make you look like your working on the street and walk right and you will not have that problem. Guys treat women the way they perceive them.

Just ignore them...or give them a look that says i do not appreciate you looking at me like an animal. Try it...it might just work.
