When i turn on or restart my computer, it opens various programs in the system tray on the startbar. How do i choose what ones open? for example, it opens quicktime, antivirus, volume control, crt manager. and i only want it to open antivirus. How do i do this?

Click Start, Run, type in msconfig, go to the startup tab and uncheck the items you do not want to run on startup. You will have to restart your computer, but it's a simple process. Just make sure you don't uncheck things that matter.

go to ur start button and click on run...then type in msconfig....click ok....then when the pop up comes on click on the start up tab.....then you can choose which things will start automatically at start up. you will have to restart your computer then for the changes to take affect.
