do they make good outdoor pets? we have 5 acres of green pasture in the country. how to care for wallabies? what to feed them? how much do they cost?

Some Wallaby do well in cold weather. The GarLyn Zoo and the DeYoung Family Zoo, both in the upper peninsula of Michigan, have Wallabies. They venture out into the snow.

well a wallaby is considered an exotic animal & you would need to apply for & be approved for a special permit & license to own one....they also are native to much warmer climates than that which we have hear in MI so they may not do well at all unless you have an ample indoor habitat with LOTS of room that would accomidate a warmer climate animal in our cold cold winters...pretty much your looking into quite ALOT of money to supply proper housing, a speciality vet who caters to exotic animals, special diet and things of this nature...Id maybe think twice on this one...BEST OF LUCK though
