If you have had unprotected sex you could be pregnant. Why not visit the doctor for a more accurate test? Blood tests are the most accurate.
You could also be under a lot of stress and that could do it. You also might be experiencing a change in hormone levels for some reason.
Your best option would be to see a gyn soon.

You could be, but some periods can be skipped. My wife just had the same thing happen actually. We were freaking out thinking she might be pregnant, but we went and got a preg test. And wouldn't you know it. The day we bought the test her period started, what a waste of 20 bucks.

Listen, you need to be more specific, have you had sex lately, how far behind was your period when you took the test? Those are two important questions and if you had sex with a condom on still that counts because it could have broke!Anyways, I can't answer your question until you add those two details and then i will give you a full length question worth ten points because i know plenty more than you know! ;) Add details to your question and i will change this answer.

If you are pregnant there are usually other symptoms such as tender breasts, nausea, heaviness in stomach etc.

Sometimes stress affects the hypothalmus in the brain...the gland that governs the production of hormones. Your periods can then become erratic. Ask doctor to be on the safe side.

If you've had unprotected sex then it's a possibility. The hormone of pregnancy does not always show up in the early stages. Have a retest done.

hmm I probably would first suspected pregnancy..I say, go get a blood test done by a doctor only way to be 9.99% sure.

Either that or stress , or early menopause (don't mean to scare) But if it's not hereditary then NOT likely..

there could be two options:
ask yourself...
1. have you had sex in the past three weeks?
if so.. take test again

2. have you been stressed or depressed?
if so.. you're body is just weird.. relax and give it time to go back to normal.
