how hard is it go get into veterinary school?

In our area it is very tough, because there aren't many schools that do veterinary medicine so there are far more people interested than there are spaces. Only the very top students get in. It seems even more competitive than medical school. You would need to make sure you do all the right prerequisites and get very good grades. See if you can work with a vet as a part time job or summer job - that might help. Volunteer at the SPCA or your local animal shelter.

acceptance into Veterinary college is amazingly perplexing yet no longer impossible. My buddy utilized for Veterinary college at college of Florida and replaced into rejected. His grades have been proper 4.0 and he had many hours of volunteer hours on the Humane Society, plus he worked as a Veterinary Technician. He then desperate to be conscious at college of Florida's Med college (for human beings) and replaced into everyday.

It is harder to get into vet school than it is to get into med school. That's because there are a disportionate number of people interested in becoming vets.

hard, harder than reg. medical school. im hoping to be a vet. (im still in high school) so im working my butt off for the future. its possible tho.
