My all-time favorite movie when I was a kid. My GF got me the DVD for christmas and I watched it a gang of times.Brought back some great memories. Anyone else a Bugsy Malone fan? If so, what's your memory of the movie or your favorite part/song? Mine would be when Bugsy and his boy are in the soup kitchen recruiting and dancing on the table.

I loved that movie. I always wanted to have a machine gun that shot cream puffs. Jody Foster played a good tramp. "We coulda' been anything that we wanted to be......." Loved that song. But my favorite part/song was when Bugsy was recruiting the kids at the soup kitchen. Oh yeah, and when he tried to teach that fat kid how to box. "Put 'em in the ring joe, just another round........let me at him Jooooooooe!" Holy ****, that was great. Nice question and trip down memory lane. Now I have to get the dvd.

Hell, the kid who played Fat Sam was my friend when I was living in Bensonhurst , Brooklyn..Real funny guy who was on the sitcom FISH with Abe Vigoda..HIs name is Johnny Cassisi...What a sense of humor he had...I wonder what happened to him..Would love to hear if he ever went any further in the movie business...If anyone knows him tell him that Stefanie, Eileen and Mary from the old neighborhood near 17th Avenue say hi.....

I can't believe someone else has seen that movie. It was one of my all time favorites when I was a kid, and I can't wait for my kids to see it.
