I use Neutrogena products. First, make sure to wash your face every night! Bc if you don't thats probably whats causing your acne. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser AT LEAST at night, and usually up to 3 times a day. Use a scrub a few times a week, maybe a blackhead scrub. Also can use a mask once a week or so. Then use acne cream at night.
Here is what I use - I'm a model and HAVE to have perfect skin...this is what I found that works best....
Neutragena Oil Free Acne Wash 2 times a day, morning and night.
Neutragena Rapid Clear treatment pads before I put on my makeup in the morning
Either Neutragena Rapid Clear acne defense lotion or acne eliminating spot gel at night.
Natural's peach and almond face scrub about 3 times a week, to get rid of dead skin.
Neutragena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask as a mask once a week
REMEMBER cleanliness is key! Don't pick your face, and don't touch your face without washing your hands first!

I've been through Neutrogena, Proactive, all different kind of acne products that didn't help me with my problem, believe it or not. BUY CLEARASIL!!! I'm serious....I fought with horrible acne all through middle school - if possible, don't wear foundation!!! I'm serious! Use Lever 2000 soap to wash your face, er....wherever you have acne, but MAKE SURE THAT IT IS THE ORIGINAL. There's something in the orginal that helps clear up acne. But don't wash too much b/c it could dry your skin too much. Also, use this Clearasil cream - it can come in the original cream and tinted - 3 days until clear skin, they guarantee...and so far...they've kept their word! Hope this helps!

I've heard about lemon juice to bleach elbows that are dark from dry skin. I imagine it would act like an astringent or a toner. Try Seabreeze instead. If your acne is really bad, ask your doctor about Accutane. It worked for me.

I battled acne for most of my life. I finally tried proactive...it's a miracle! (as long as you use it twice per day)
If you don't want to try proactive, my advice is: 1. be careful not to overdry which makes acne worse 2. Cleans twice per day - no excuses! (This is my biggest problem, I tend to fall asleep without washing my face - BIG NONO!) 3. find a mask that you like and try to use it twice per week.
If you can afford facials at about $50 a pop, they work better than anything in the whole world. Unfortunately, I've found that acne prone skin usually needs a facial about every three weeks to keep it picture perfect....too expensive for me.

Try the Clear Skin Regimen by Acne.org, I set a goal of three months for myself last April and stuck with it, after a month my skin was completely clear, and since I set a goal farther away it was easier to achieve, as I didn't have my hopes up for a quick fix.

first of all use a cleanser for sensitive skin and a non drying astringent.lemon juice burns and can make acne worse.i use aveeno clear complexion but if you want something cheaper you can use huggies sensitive bath cloths.they work really well and they won't break you out.also, use baby wipes to help remove makeup before you wash your face and instead of an acne gel use teatree oil,it works really well.

I heard putting cucumber slices, milk, and olive oil on your face everyday is good; not too sure on the lemon juice though.

Proactiv! It is an easy 3 step process and it works so well! I use it everyday, twice a day, and it really works to stop break outs and makes your skin smooth and pretty. I swear by it!

I dont think that lemon is good for your skin I think it can irritate your skin. What I did was that I went to a dermatologist and gave me all these creams and stuff that have actually worked for me.
