Funny youd ask that. I hated my x husband and his father my x husband was killed in a car accident in October and we have a 12 year old son , his father died in June. I hated them becuase they both abused me in ways I will not mention and put all over the internet. But yet I was crushed. I did not know if it was because I was married to the man for 7 years although he was a jerk and his father, they are my sons family. I do feel somewhat guilty for ever wishing bad things to happen to them, because when they finally did, I still did not feel the relief I had imagined at one time I would have felt, and it is not in my human nature to wish death or harm on people normally.

I used to think that my whole family was perfect untill my father found out he had cancar. We had it all together. We do now just without my father. Theres an empty place that was once his.
Heres a side of the story that you might not here.( I think the word hates a bit too strong) I would never wish anything bad on an enemy. For anyone one that I dislike to have any sort of disease that could kill them. I watched my father die slowly for three long years.I'd have it lay on my concience for a long time. Plus your thoughts could back fire back to you or someone you love deeply. What goes around comes around.

depends on what it was and why you hated them. I used to say there were somethings I wouldn't wish on anyone. like loosing a loved one, and for the most part that is still true, but those people who protest at the funerals of dead soliders saying" Thank God for dead soliders" I found my self wishing their sons would get drafted, I would still probably feel bad if their son died, but not that bad.

That's a difficult one. There is one person that if something happened to him, I dislike him so very much, that NO I wouldn't feel bad.........

If it really hurt them I'd say no.
If it only caused them major discomfort then yes, I'd feel bad that more did not happen.

Yes I would. I don't wish harm on anyone. Even if it is someone I don't like. I always think how their family would feel about it.

No. I would probably celebrate it, though maybe not in public. But of course I would not make it happen. It would have to be something that happened without my intervention.
