4 high school girls...?

im gonna be a freshmen this year and i was just wondering if i should carry a purse to high school and r u going to carry a purse around?ty

I personally believe that there is no need for carrying a purse to school. It's not like you'll be going shopping while attending classes. The only time you'll be moving around is class changes, lunch and after school. What is the point of one when there is a backpack/side bag? You can store all of your things that you would normally put in a handbag right in to your backpack. If you have small accessories such as makeup, tampon, cell-phone etc, place them in a cosmetic bag and store your cell in one of the pockets inside the bag.

For those who like to just carry binders, then store things inside the binder or bring a wallet and store it in your pant pockets, in-case you will like to buy cafeteria food etc.

Carrying a purse to school will just increase chances of getting it stolen or lost, an extra weight and object to bring to and home. For those reasons, I have not carried a purse to school and do not wish to.

i carry a purse. Most ppl do, i used to not because i was to "tomboy" for that, but now it's easier to keep track of everything i need. If you dont want to just carry a bookbag with your "purse" stuff in that. If you're comfortable with it, then carry one. I don't see what the problem is with carrying one?

Make sure it's a trendy one and not one from sales ( you can have the bad luck to see another girl with one the same and that's it with your first day)and you'll get all the attention.
Use your favourite, and be careful with your emotions and your zip, you don't want your tampons or all the thing you intend to carry to be in sight of everybody , now do you ?

u should carry a purse on certain days like when u have ur period
but u can wear a small purse with a matching outfit

there are good and bad things about carrying purses in high school:

good-
if you have your period and want a discreet way of carrying pads/tampons
if you really have to carry around your make up
they look cute

bad-
theyre a hastle to carry w/ your bookbag
unless you keep them close to you all the time, you could forget it somewhere

I'm going to be a freshman, too. In my opinion, I think purses are kinda tacky, no matter how expensive, or designer they are. I'd suggest, instead an Abercrombie or Hollister bookbag. They're really cute, but can hold all your books, pencils, notebooks, folders, etc.

i'm gonna be a freshman and i think carrying a purse around would be kinda annoying but that's just me... so i'm not gonna... but if u think u're gonna need stuff on a certain day then go for it

dats upto u, i usually carry my backpack & books around, but u can keep ur books in ur locker & carry a purse around where u can put makeup or the books u need for the class

yea u should. just in case u have stuff u need to carry around. For instance- tampons pads a bra (lol, i actually had to do this one day) uhhh just anything that u might want to have in your purse. You definately should.
