I've heard left if you are taken and right if you are available. Is this right?

unless you are talking about wedding or engagement rings, most people aren't going to be clued in to your relationship status based on which ankle you wear a bracelet... It doesn't matter.

No, it doesn't matter for normal ankle braclets. I think I heard something like this when I was young, but it was only with those ones made out of hemp.

I've never heard that, no it doesn't matter which ankle you wear it on. It's your preference.

No! I would were it on my right but whatever flatters you! I don't think that is true. It could be in different religions though. It also matters if it is cheap or expensive.
