All different prices.

Tattoos depend on the:
•size.
•placement on the body. (some parts of the body are harder to tattoo)
•detail
•amount of time it takes to do the tattoo.
•If the tattoo is an outline or filled in.
•If the tattoo has shading or not.

If the tattoo parlor is in a touristy area the prices could be inflated.

Most tattoo shops have a minimum price of anywhere form $50 to $70.00 as their base price for a small tattoo. This covers the inks and the needles and the set up.

Some artists charge by an hourly rate. This can varry its usuially anywhere from $100 to $250 depending on how good the artist is.

RE:
how much are tattoos?

Depends on what you want, where, how big, and what color (b&w or full color). Also depends on the details.

Usually $50 plus even for the smallest one, because of the fees to purchase one time use needles, ink and studio fees. If they charge you any less than this, they are skimping somewhere else and that is not healthy!

REMEMBER you get what you pay for with tats so DONT SKIMP! It can be dangerous if not done right, so go somewhere healthy and safe, no matter the cost. Tats are investments, treat them that way. You don't want to f**k up your body forever by being cheap.

Im looking for my first tat, know exactly (well kinda) what i want, its outline of texas with muscle lines showing, basically 3d puzzle piece of texas missing and the atlanta braves tomahawk breaking through the center of the texas outline, kinda confusing but i also want it about the size of a cd. My other idea is texas outline cut out again, but this time have a blue eye peeking through the cut out instead of the muscle lines. Your thoughts

For a quality custom tattoo, expect to pay about 100 dollars an hour. I wouldn't settle for less, but maybe you will...

Tattoos cost all different prices depending on colors, size, design, etc. But the real cost to you is the damage to your skin for all eternity. And the cost it causes you in your social or business life.'

That all depends on the color's, the size, and the artist. I done mine myself, though they are not pretty good, except the cross on my right arm... it can cost anywhere from $25 to $500 or more, depending on usually the artists. Really good artists are known to charge up in the thousands.

All depends on what you want...where... how big... and most of all...Who is doing it???

The bigger the more expensive... the more intricate, the more expensive.... the better the artist the more expensive!!!

Its like asking: 'how long is a piece of string'??!!!!
