I WOULD CHOOSE A SOCIETY LIKE THAT OF THE TIME MACHINE WHERE MORLOCKS AND ELOI LIVED TOGETHER IN HARMONY.

I WOULD BE A MORLOCK BECAUSE I LOVE TO EAT HUMANS.

Cloud city in Star Wars is pretty harmonious - I quite like the holodecks on Star Trek to play out any random fantasies - the Genesis Programme in Star Trek 3 was a paradise world too, that would be a happy place to live, this isn't a film but in Charmed there was that moment when peace on earth descended on everyone and they all started being nice to each other, that would be novel for a while - they are all transient states though as humankind cannot inherently remain decent for long so the blade runner world would reign supreme in the end - the terminators would soon be activated to reaffirm the balance!

I would choose The Blob, life was much simpler back in the 50's I think. (wasn't born then) What the heck, how hard could it be to get away from a big slow moving blob of play doe... Galaxy Quest would be my second choice. I would love to give lobster face both barrels...It probably in reality will end up like the movie They live. Where we don't even know the aliens are running the world...

I don't know about movies, but if I could choose a book for the future to resemble, I'd have to go with the Ringworld series by Larry Niven.

Bicentennial Man. Seems plausible, realistic, and achievable almost within the lifetime of our youngest.

The Wraith are better. They're featured in both Halo and Stargate...and they eat people too.
