I can't say I listened to those bands in particular but when I was a pre-teen I listened to a lot of boy bands. There's nothing to be embarassed about......that kind of music appeals to a certain age (young girls) mainly because they have pretty-boy singers and they sing pop-ish sounds which parents dont mind their young children listening to. Of course people grow out of them after a while but it's nothing to be ashamed of.

haha brit pop. yes, but only some of the songs of those you mentioned but not five. if i remember correctly that's one of the sappy boy bands.
