No, there is no scientific proof to back that belief. The moon, as a celestial body orbiting the Earth only has enough power affect the Earth as a whole or in terms of bigger forces like the ocean tides and such but nothing as insignificant as human moods. The only way that it could affect our mood is indirectly by what we might BELIEVE the moon can do to us, our minds are very strong and if we believe something strong enough it might just end up affecting us in a physical matter, through our mind that is.

I think it can. I can't really say in what way. I'm basing my answer on the experiences a friend of mine had during the three years she worked nights on a Psych ward. When the moon was full they always had trouble with the patients. She always dreaded going to work when there was a full moon. If it affected the patients that way, it probably affects us too, it's just not as noticable.

No idea on myself but I used to work at the bus depot and all the loons came out during full moons. It definitely had an effect on the homeless and druggies. We used to warn bus drivers of the full moon.

The word lunatic means moon crazy. Our bodies are something like 80% water and the moon pulls in the tides of the ocean, a huge body, sure they effect ours. One full moon night I woke up wondering why I have such lucid and bizarre dreams on those nights and this phrase popped into my head: She shines her light into the darkest corners of truth (in my head?)

yes I work in a hospital and you can definitely tell when there's a full moon. the emergency room gets busy like crazy and people come in more with injuries from fights after the bars close. so yes, I don't know why but people just act more out of control.

All evidence that the moon has an effect on human behavior is based on people's beliefs and experience. However, there is no scientific evidence: e.g. contrary to popular belief, more babies are not born on the full moon, more e.r. incidents do not happen on the full moon.

...A full moon is a romantic setting. So, yes, it does effect me in a positive way.
Lon Chaney once complained to Lou Costello...whenever the full moon comes out, I turn into a wolf...Costello replied...you, a million other guys...
