I know this might be weird but do this before you go to bed. Put honey on the spot(s) then cover it with a bandage. It should help.

I have the same problem too. I read many magazines and articles. You can not get rid of it completely unless you try laser skin care which is super expensive. I guess you can try any whitining products, this will help you lighten the spots somewhat. The Japanese-counter Shiseido has the spot -erase essense, but since you can't find it here, maybe you can try the lancome one.

Dark spots and skin discolorations are two tell-tale signs of too much sun exposure and aging skin. These factors can activate pigment-producing cells that form melanin, which eventually travels to the surface of the skin and causes freckles, dark spots and uneven coloration.

Try Mary Kay TimeWise® Even Complexion Essence. It is clinically shown to restore skin’s natural, even tone in as little as four weeks. Formulated with our patent-pending Lucentrix™ complex, it helps reduce visible dark spots and reverses skin discoloration.
