Is it possible to make my own dust bath?

I have a chinchilla but I can't find a dust bath that I really like. Some feel kinda rough like sand while others make him look gray (i dont mind) or contain....glitter?

i thought dust baths for chinchillas was a fine sand. dont use glitter on him. just keep looking around until you find the one you and he likes.

Calcium sand is the best for your chinchilla to bathe in. Any good pet store will have a plain unscented and uncoloured white calcium sand.
