Water is usually pretty cheap. Electric maybe about 75 a month, but it all depends on were you live and how you heat, air conditions. Best bet is to call some apartment around the area you would like and ask what the average electric and heating bill is.

Depends on how much water and electric you plan to use.

To keep electric down don't run A/C and keep the heat lower in winter. Don't turn on all the lights and limit the amount of things you plug in. If the stove is electric, use the microwave as much as you can.

My water bill was about $15/month for one person and the electric was between $40-$90/month depending on what time of year it was.

Electric- about 70 a month
Water- 20 a month
Gas- anywhere from 100-400 a month- depending on the size of the unit and how much you use.
Don't forget phone, cable, internet, etc.
I lived by myself for a while and it was between 200-300 a month just in utilities.

Water usually runs $20/month a person and electricity depends on the rates of the company. If I had to put a range...I'd see between $50-$70/month.

depends on where you live and how much of an energy hog you are (the later one you can always change, like turning off the faucet when you brush your teeth, using lower wattage bulbs, and making sure you turn things off if you don't need them). Seriously your best bet is to ask the landlord of the apartment if he has any estimates of how much it would cost to run a certain apartment, sometimes they know, or look for one with the utilities included.

If you know where it is you want to live you can call the utility companies and ask for an estimate of costs. They can usually give that to you or a high and low average.
