Yes, probably, but also not for reasons that have anything to do with India or Pakistan. The U.S. now has a very strong economic interest in India, and a very strong strategic military interest in what is going on in Pakistan. These two are at odds with another -- and given the U.S.'s historical policy toward Islamic fundamentalism and the extremist tactics of some of its followers, I predict that the U.S. will side with India in such a conflict. Not good.

Not a serious one. Perhaps a minor skirmish.
There is far too much trade between those two countries for all out war to be practical or beneficial for either.

Yes, it is inevitable. But it wont happen till Musharraf is out. Pakistan will vote in some extremists, just like Iran did.

Ofcourse...Pakistan is an islamic country--its inevitable, its such an unstable religion and such a controversial/violent religion will not go to war w/ its enemy of Kasmir--like y does pakistan want it??

I think so. They are two emerging nuclear powers with a long history of violence. I don't know why there is so much fighting over Kashmir, the wool of those goats couldn't be that valuable.
