This is getting so rediculous, the christians hate the christians,
the christians hate the athiests, the athiests hate the christians
It is so frivolous and stupid, I see just as much "Proselyting" amongst
athiests as i do christians. What ever happend to the idea of
peace and forgiveness? We say we hate war, we want to
end war, but we are in the throes of war here, in our own
country.
Damn why do you people hate eachother so much?
Is it so important trying to prove your right? To make one
or the other look like an idiot? All of you should be ashamed
of yourselves, if i was you momma id have long since
sent you to your rooms, and then kiss and make up.
I mean seriously GROW UP!

I'm an atheist and I agree with you more than 100%. Why can't everybody believe whatever works for them and respect the other guy and his beliefs. This back and forth hatred is sad it shows your ignorance and it's so unnecessary.

Wishful thinking.. It will NEVER happen that people get along together.....
Personally, I know that there will never be a solution to hate. What is hate? Most people will tell you that it is an emotion, one extreme and vile, categorized with malicious feelings such as jealousy. Some will tell you it is the culmination of anger into an unforgiving, permanent form. Most will tell you that hate is stubborn, blind, and relentless. Hate is the culmination and prolonged climax of one’s own relentless beliefs, heightened to the point that the individual relinquishes perspective in favor of a single-minded, one-dimensional rush. Do people attempt to use hate in order to push forth what they believe is right? Indeed they do, and even in this "civil" society of the early 21st century, people still resort to their basest instincts in order to advance and to force their beliefs upon others. We continue to hate for our one-dimensional view on what is "right", and what is civil. But civil blood makes even the most civil hands unclean. Our sad fault is that sometimes we think money can be a cleaning towel.

Heh, wow. I've heard a lot of things about the atheist/christian theories, but maturity? I'm impressed.
On a serious note, it's just on the debate of religion; those who want to be 'loved' by a higher force, and those who refuse to believe in it due to their want of ignorance, or their dislike of certain customs within the faith. I'd say it's pretty childish of you to complain about this...it's only best to sit back and watch.
A debate like this has already been insued back then...when the church had ruled and led Crusades to kill those who did not believe in God, period. Disputes have been settled between the church, people, and government...so all this really is just religious descrimination.
Like I said, it's only best to sit back and watch; we've dealt with a lot worse. It'll have to take someone with a brain amongst the groups to research it, and re-settle the conflict that was born from so long ago.
...That's my thought, though. 'Nuff said. ^_^

Right on! The problem is actually intolerance; and what I see all over this country is tolerant anyone and anything except Christians and Christianity. Also, some people get angry if you don't agree with them; atheists, christians, or whoever. And yes, you're right. How you argue shows your maturity or lack thereof.

We have tha right 2 believe wut we want 2. if it makes u feel better 2 believe when u die u will walk through tha white gates of heavon or if ull become a worm toilet, its ur business. learn 2 tolerate others as well as ur own beliefs. i could belive when i die, i will become tha easter bunny. It really doesnt matter cuz either way 1 day your gonna find out, all u can do now is believe.

You are so right. I used to go to church and it seemed like everybody was stuck up and only they were decent people. It sickened me so I quit going. But I still beleive in god. And he has my faith. But I do not hate anybody and they have there own opinion. And I never bug anyone about that. I keep it to myself.

I don't hate the christians, really. And I don't hate the believers of any other religion. I just wish they'd accept one little thing... only one. Accept to put their faith to the question... Just that so we can talk and avoid them closing like oysters when they hear something they find blasphemous. I just wish to be able to break the barrier of "no doubt" so we could go debating like you said: like grown ups.

But in the process of doing all of this My GOD told me stand up and fight for your rights'cause you been doing what I told you but if they are abusing you....then defend yourself. SO I DID...AMEN

How can you not hate people who try to shove their beliefs down your throat and pretend they're happier then they actually are.. A.K.A. Christians
I wouldn't hate them if they kept their beliefs to themselves and left the rest of us the **** alone, and allowed people to do things despite their "beliefs" when people are adults, you can't tell them what to do anymore. They have no rights telling gays not to marry and women not to get abortions.
