Go ahead and tell me; I'm interested! The singer who sings the song may be one that you don't like, but one that you believe fits you best. Personally... I don't really have a song that sums me up... yet. Include info, like who is the singer/band, name of the song, and a short "why you chose it" explanation.

Right now it's, "At Last" by Etta James. I'm getting married to the love of my life in November and as the song goes...."At Last....my love has come along, my lonely days are over and life is like a song"
Have a great day!

There are a lot of different parts of songs that sum me up at any given moment, but right now I have a lot of junk going on and the song that seems to fit really well with me, because of the lyrics is Avenged Sevenfold's Seize the Day, because I need to make sure I live for today and love the people that mean the world to me now, because tomorrow it could all be taken away from me, my favorite line in the song is "Seize the day, or die regreting the time you lost, it's empty and cold without you here, too many people to ache over."

Little Duece Coupe, by the beach boys, I love the 50's and love cars, and hot rods, and work on cars, I am currently working on a 1988 Camaro Z-28. And I plan on owning a retro styled speedshop, and I soon will be working on a V8 truck, making it into a muscletruck! Nothing like the classics!

I would have to say "Over My Head" by The Fray. It's pretty fitting right now. I'm recently divorced and I have to say that I was "in over my head". It's a song of surrender and complete emotional oneness for me. Everytime I hear it I ask myself, "How in the hell did this happen to me?" Oh well, it was all for the best and I'm a stronger, more complete person for having gone through it.

" I Am Woman" by Helen Reddy. Why? Because I have grown so much and have come so far. I have faced so much in just a few short years like childbirth, raising my child, being poor, and
Hurricane Katrina to name a few. I am stronger today than I was
when I was in school. I am more self confident now and I finally believe in myself as a person.

There are a couple for me. One is "Ironic" by Alanis Morrissette, and the other is "Miss Independent" by Kelly Clarkson. This is because in "Ironic", it talks about things happening that are completely just well, ironic and some of that stuff has happened to me and in "Miss Independent" the song is just me. So thats why I'd pick those.

My song would have to be "Standing Still" by Jewel because I feel like I'm standing still and people pass me by. Sometimes, I wonder if people (especially this one person) really notice that I even exist at all.

Do you want me, like I want you?
Or am I standing still, beneath the darkened sky?
Or am I standing still, with the scenery flying by?
Or am I standing still, out of the corner of my eye?
Was that you passing me by?

As cheesy as this is, it's "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake. It signifies a very important time in my life, and it reinforces my belief that the one person you can always count on is yourself.

Forever Young by Rod Stewart. My mother had the lyrics printed and framed for me when I graduated high school because it reminded her of me.
