it's a scam .... you don't just pay for a passport you need to apply for one ( and of course pay a fee ) but you don't just pay for one! the same goes for a visa. Nigeria creates lots of these scams what going across the world.

plus her passport would be fake thus making you helping her into the us illegal.

This is a typical story that the yahoo boys in Nigeria use. It is most likely a male impersonating a female. There are many people just like this preying on gullible Americans. And deb, I hope that you are referring to the scammers in Nigeria that are giving it a bad name. We know that there are many honest sincere people there. It is most likely a scam. The actual procedure is much more complicated and time consuming than you are being led to beleive.

It is a scam. Remember the pastors wife in Selmer Tennessee who killed her husband. They were involved with scams like this and it caused alot of financial pressure and she snapped and killed her husband. Rather or not that was as good excuse or not is not the point.( I dont think so ) The point is, it it is a scam.

Go to scamorama.com . It's a total fraud and the woman is unlikely even a woman. It's someone sitting in an internet cafe trying to rip you off.

You are being scammed.

Do not send this person one single cent.

She is not traveling to the United States. She is going to stay right where she is and keep coming up with excuses for you to send her more money.

This is how most nigerians make their living. Do not fall for it.
