Because mentally ill people are going tough a hard time, and when people are pushed to their braking point then they turn to God .

why are some people so hung up on what others may or may not believe? could it be that some people have a bit of a guilt complex? if not, why would it bother them to the point of making a statement about it out of the blue like you did?
