The World Champions are looking real good right now, after sweeping the Tigers, eh?
They are arguably a better team than last year. They're in a tough division this year with Minnesota coming on strong lately as well.
It's a fun run this year, possibly more fun even than last year at this point in the season.

bdetraz said it best. For all you saying the Sox won't win their division please look at their upcoming schedule compared to the Tigers. The Tigers need to worry about not getting swept again against a very good Red Sox team. While the Sox will be playing the Royals. When these series are over it can very well be down to a 21/2 game lead. Chi-Town all day shawty!

It is very possible. The Tigers have series' coming up against the Red Sox and The Yankees. The White Sox have series' coming up against The Royals, and The Devil Rays. Much easier schedule for The White Sox. Entirely possible they will catch the Tigers.

Yes.........be patient and good things will come.
Think about this: Last year at this time the WhiteSox were leading by at least 12.5-15.5 over the Indians. The Indians closed the gap to somewhere between 1.5-.5 That was a lot of games to make up but they did (now I know that WS pulled it off) but that was a lot of games to come back from. Now the Sox just have to make-up 5.5 with 7 games left against a team that is 3-9 against them. I like the White sox chances!

Remember last season? The Sox slumped after the all-star break, then started playing harder than any other team and won in large streaks. I just finished watching them sweep the Tigers and they look GOOD. I think they'll win the division! Only 5 1/2 back.

the white sox are not going to win "their" division because of the tigers and/or the twins.

I think they have a pretty good chance. They have a strong team and even stronger leader.
