1. I have absolutely no proof that 'Jesus' even existed. He may be an icon people made up to represent the multitudes of people who had been nailed to crosses.
2. A book, 'the bible' was written after the alleged events had occurred. I have little trust in the media. The bible has been spun so many times, just like the story of 'Henny Penny'. I wasn't there, so I cannot varify with absolute certainty that 'Jesus' existed.
========================================
3. Salvador Dali, on the other hand did exist and we have documented proof and photographs, life footage.
4. I think that he was a good showman, and a bit eccentric, which evolved as time went on. But, it worked for him — why not?
5. Go to The Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida, and you will see some of his early works before he got formal training. Not very impressive, beyond their historical significance.
6. Dali got it, figured it out and went at his art fast & furiously. He was also known for his pranks.
7. I truly believe that he led an interesting, flamboyantly expressive life and probably enjoyed contributing the art as much as the accolades that followed his achievements.

Well, Jesus did draw on the ground with his finger once, as He was sitting between a rock-throwing mob and a prostitute...maybe that makes Him an artist...
But no, I don't think He was inoffensive at all. Inoffensive people don't get put through kangaroo courts, beaten beyond recognition, and nailed up naked for all the world to see. That only happens to people who really rock somebody's world!
I don't think He was crazy either. Crazy people don't look politicians and religious icons in the face and tell them all their stupid rules don't impress God one bit.
Of course, if this is madness, I could wish He would bite a few people, and spread it around a little!

Supposing you had a friend who had an aunt Molly and Molly died and was buried and then a day or two later was ejected by supernatural force out of her coffin and from her grave and continued her life where she left off, going shopping, feeding her cat, and watching soap on television.
Well not quite, she would gain celebrity status, appear on chat shows, be invited to open new supermarkets and so on. After a while people would tire of her and move on to the next sensation, and her resurrection would be mentioned in chronicles of strange happenings.
So it is not merely the fact the Jesus rose again that is of significance in itself. It is that God raised him from the dead, the significance is then in whom he raised from the dead. However, I have to point out that only disciples saw the risen Lord. He made no public appearance in his risen state.
The fact that you ask this question shows two things, that Jesus was in fact somebody, he still is for he is the same yesterday, today, and for ever. God is God of the living. Jesus himself pointed this out. God declared to Moses I am the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. (Note the present tense if you missed the point) And the other thing is a natural desire to keep God safe. Wouldn't it be nice if Jesus was just a Mr Ordinary Conversation Piece. Wouldn't it be good if he was just a pretend friend for people who couldn't grow up

I think Jesus was a great philosopher, someone who knew many things. He gave great advice and really helped people feel better about themselves. I do not think he was crazy. But I also don't believe he was the Son of God or divine in any way.

I don't think Jesus was an 'inoffensive' anything. His teachings pissed off tons of contemporary Greeks and Jews alike. They might be accepted now, but that's how they were treated then.

Salvador was not a little man. He must have had an icredibly complex and convoluted brain, his artwork is incredible. I don't think Jesus ever painted.
