Does anyone know where I can find a small fan that plugs into the cigarette lighter in a car? My son is in a rear facing car seat and the AC doesn't get to him very well. I have a cigarette lighter slot in the rear of the vehicle and I want to find a small fan that I can point right at him to help keep him cool. He starts to sweat about 30 seconds after being put in his car seat. THANKS!!!

While you can legally use things like this, best safe practices say that anything added to the interior of the car is just a potential projectile in case of a crash. Basically, if you are involved in a crash, the fan is just something that can fly around the interior of the car and hurt you or more than likely your son as it will be pointed at him. Try getting some static cling type window sun shades (not the kind on rollers that suction cup on the windows as these are projectiles also) to help keep the sun off of him to help keep him cool.

Try an AC adapter and plug in a 110 volt plug device to that plug.

Wal-Mart sold fans that plug into cig. lighter about 3 years ago. I don't know if they still sell them. You might try flea markets or a liquidater store.
