Men and women can be "just pals". You just have to be upfront with the person and find out what they hope to get out your relationship. Are they seeking to be pals or do they want something more? If you have two mature people who can look beyond gender, you can be "just pals". I have males friends that I have never had sex with and it has never been an issue.

platonic relationships between different sexes are a definite - speaking from experience, my pal and i have been the best of buds for too many years and we have seen each other through heartbreaks and the like and we're still best buds - sex never came into the picture. however, it's important that boundaries are set to begin with and the most important thing is to be honest with each other. also, outsiders may misunderstand but it would have no bearing on the relationship if both trust each other.

It is completely possible. I have male friends that I have known for over 30 years, and that is all we have ever been. None of us are ugly either! We have at some time flirted a little, perhaps, but nothing spoils a good friendship like getting sexually involved. You have to be the one to decide whether you enjoy the friendship enough to lose it and all of it's benefits by sleeping with your friend.....Good luck. Nana

I've changed my opinion on this over time. During my 20's I'd say NO WAY. But now I'm in my 30's, I'd prefer friends over 'partners' anyday. If sex were to rear it's ugly head in time, then so be it.

When I was single I had many guy friends. We weren't interested in each other romantically. We were all attractive, but none of us really wanted to be in a serious relationship with anyone. I immediately thought of that old movie When Harry Met Sally. In the movie the best friends did eventually end up hooking up, but in real life it is absolutely possible to just stay friends. As a matter of fact, I highly recommend it, guys are great to hang out with.

YES it is possible, I have a guy friend!!
We have been best friends for about ... 5 or more years, since I was bout 14 I think. (I'm 19 now so that's about right)
We've never had sex or even talked about having sex, even when we were both single for long periods of time.
I tell him everything! Even about my sex life and he is the same way with me.
SO it IS possible.
I'm married now and he and I still hang out and talk just as much. Hubby is cool with it they are even friends now also.(doubt they are as close as he and I are lol)

Yes i think its possible, but i am sure one or both of them would have thoughts about each other which is more than just friendship but they both choose to maintain a friendship and nothing more. If they can be good friends for years and have a laugh and get along, why cant they be more than friends, as withiin a relationship you are also frends with your bf and gf as u have fun together.

no one person will always find the other attractive so to sum it up the ugly one will always have a crush on the other. But as you call yourself slutttt no doubt sex will rear it head.

OMg yess i had many of guy friends and EVERYBODY always said oohhhh so you like him eh? not true when u become too much of a friend you cant every see him in a boyfriend/sexual way its wrong if u tell him everything and he tells you evertying
your better off good pals cuz if u date and somethign happens things wont be the same again
