Is it true that keeping hair shorter decreases the amount of hair fallen from your head?

no, it is just more noticeable. hair is continously falling out and being replaced, it is simply not as obvious when a short one is shed. cutting hair does not strengthen it, it just removes weakened split ends...hair is just dead cells. nor does the weight cause it to pull out--if any of the above were true, i would have been bald long ago as my hair is to my buttocks and has been for a very long time

No, your hair doesn't fall out because of its length, but if it's longer the pieces that you do lose will be more noticeable.

Yes because the more you cut it the stronger it gets. So short hair is less likely to fall out.
