Of course not. Race is just a distinction made up by humans to divide people. It's just skin color, and wanting a country of people with just one skin color is kind of like wanting a country of people with just one eye color or shoe size- it's just an arbitrary physical feature that doesn't affect your personality at all.

No, I would NOT want to live in a country with just one ethnic group. I like learning about different cultures. I also think American food is BORING. I have friends from India, Argentina, and the Phillipines. I have black friends, friends who are Irish, Italian, Mexican... I have learned a lot about the foods of these cultures and I love it. I enjoy learning about different groups of people and I'm glad that I have a diverse group of friends.

It's not race that allows for human conflicts as intense as they are, but religion. I am as happy as I could be in this condition, but if religion were to vanish, to become not, then 'race' would have no meaning. But as a matter of course, the property question, bourgeois versus working class superiority-antagonism would be the next struggle.

It's become too much of a melting pot. Gangs, teen pregnancies, and hardcore drugs have been at an all-time high here in California, and it just so happens that the whites are a minority here. When you're actually living in it, it's hard not to point the finger.

This country is founded by diversity... Anyone who would want this country to be just white is closeminded and silly, not to mention uneducated.

America is great with the African-Americans, Mexican-Amercians, European-Americans, and Oriental-Americans.

No one should want it any other way.

The world would be boring with just one race. It would also be pretty creepy. I love the diversity in our country, that is what makes it great.

If we only had 1 race, it wouldn't be America. Immigrants come here to find opportunity and a way of life. There's good and bad in everyone and in every race.

I choose Diversity. But no racism in any culture. some Blacks seem to hold grudge against white people. I'm tired of that to.

I think people should have the ability to be with who they want to be and if that's with people they have something in common with then so be it. I think it's also recist to want to have to mix up all the people because americans feel guilty for abusing other peoples in the past. Democracy is about freedom.
