International Politics is a mind boggling affair. Today USA stands
at number 1 position. This is because of multi discipline work force and the US policy. US being a free country you will find a person from all countries in the world. It is a truly democratic country. If you want the Dollar to be strong then it is necessary to make world affairs as your policy also. The H.Q. of U.N. is in US. When a helpless country is invaded they look at US for support and no other country can help. So it is essential for them to interfere in world affairs. But along with fame and richness you also get awe and jealousy in equal doses. So it needs a balanced interference in international affairs and not goof up as in the cause of Vietnam or Iraq.

I say the US should pull out from others affairs and mind their own business. Yes let the world tey to solve their own problems. America is a beautiful country and i personaly have no problems with the americans.. they're alright. Its their country's decission makes that are the actual screw-ups.
What I think is that the US has had such a huge and highly developed economic growth that it cant go any further than this.. remember the time before the iraq war, the number of jobless people in the US was at its highest. The US economy was stagnent and wasnt moving any futher. With every rise there's always a great depression and thats when the decission makes started tapping into less developed countries to see if they can exploit and generate money from there. Is this right for the US do to something like that? Yes, the war created many jobs and the economy was getting back on track again but on whose cost? On the cost of innocent lives on BOTH sides.. your's and theirs! And now that they've started something that they are trying very hard to put an end to and they cant because the US has successfully managed to give birth to hatered in the hearts of many people all over the world. Even the ones who have nothing with the US at all. Let others do what they have to do, the US should sit and mind their own business and take care of your own country's affairs. Being the super power does not allow the US to be a bully, being a super power the USA should set an excellent example by showing other countries how it has developed to become the super power of the world. Today every American goes out of the USA and hopes he doesnt come across a person (irrespective of cast, race or nationality) that hates the americans... ever asked yourself why? If I want to go anywhere around the world I will be so uncomfortable knowing that people harbor hatered for me and my country. How can I ever move about freely? Americans can say they believe in freedom but the fact remains they're free in the USA only. Anywhere else they have to watch their backs... thats not freedom.
Unfortunately, none of the answers and opnion by the people is going to reach anywhere close to the people who are the atcual decission makers. We will always be The People and the People who govern us will always do what they think is best, not what is right for the People.

As long as we are a part of this world we need to extend a hand to those that ask ,as long as there isn't a knife in that country's other hand.
We can not isolate our selves,we are a part of the global economy and we have to look after our friends.
Our biggest threat right now are the Islamic extremist that hate this country and the people that live here. The Muslims have a strangle hold on France, and as usual France doesn't fight it.We here in America need to band together against the extremist and present a united front. Blacks,Browns,Whites,Reds,
Yellow and all the colors that make up this great country. We need to stand tall and fast to defeat our common enemy. They don't want to live with us they want to kill all of us.I am not talking about all Muslims by any means, only the fanatic extremist that try to destroy our country and our way of life.
By the way I am a liberal Democrat.

If our International policing efforts have NO positive benefit for the USA, then we need to cut the fat and focus on what International efforts we should double and perhaps triple on.
I'd like to believe if we're spending $50 BILLION A MONTH on Iraq, there must be a positive reason (other than securing some politician(s) wealth).
With the Soviet dismantle of thousands of their nuclear missiles, we cannot discount possibilities terrorist zealots are itching to purchase nuclear fusion material for a easy to set off "dirty bomb".
And of course, to make money, some MUST be spent. The USA is a corporate superpower nation that in many ways is run much like a business. We have to help other powerful nations in the event one day, we might need their help.
US money spent on killing terrorists is money well spent, in my book.

in spite of the fact that in case you are able to forget approximately touching directly to the international marketplace then you definately would could manage in the present day's present day weaponry and the certainty that even the main backward regimes have get right of entry to to city leveling missiles that could stretch continents. We have been given fortunate for the time of WW I and WW II that we had time to equipment up for the conflict. Now that the enemy can strike interior minutes extremely of years the interest has replaced. Burying your head interior the sand and ignoring distant places coverage heavily isn't an option.

1. Isolationism does not work (ie: Japan circa 1890-1945?)
2. US has international companies... you can't just shut the borders unless you want to be unemployed and starve to death.
3. No more driving because the cost of gas and basically anything you consume will be EXPENSIVE!
4. US is needed to help keep the world at peace and to know exactly what everybody is doing.
**most important 5. People with power tend to want to stay in power. US is the top super power in the world right now, and to stay in power we need to be EVERYWHERE to keep others in check.

the world better be glad we don't pull out of world affairs. Otherwise they'd all either be speaking German or Russian right now. Including the Islamic fascists that are currently trying to kill us and rule the world.

Pulling out is not the answer. The answer is being more fair and nicer to other nations and not act as a bully. The answer is setting an example(currently America sets a bad example of power abuse)

If the the U.S were to pull out of world affairs it would confirm that America is no longer a super power. So I think America definitly should, when considering the chaos and destruction it causes for the world.

Showing a little bias aren't we?
The US should butt out of other peoples business, and we should have pulled our troops from Iraq long ago! It's a loser, and all we are doing is getting more kids killed!
Religious zealots have been around for as long as there has been religion! We are still here!
